As the CEO of United Property Management, Cecil Milton is responsible for running all facets of the business. He has a tried and proven executive management track record and over 20 years of experience overseeing the day-to-day operation of the management firm.

Cecil Milton's career began with the best training a fledgling entrepreneur can have: on-the-job experience directed by the family patriarch, his father and mentor José Milton. His early training gave way to his more formal exposure to all aspects of the property management company. Garnering skills in finance, operations, marketing, and with an emphasis on rental development, Mr. Milton's formal education included a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Miami.

As CEO, he is directly responsible for the growth and organization of the company's 15,000 residential apartments, including the hiring and training of the hundreds of diversified staff members who are employed within the company's numerous departments. He is recognized as a true innovator in the property management field. He has developed significant industry management improvements: setting up interactive in-house departments that share a commonality of business practices; encouraging creative contributions; and coordinating all product and service functions in- house, including construction, repairs, engineering, mechanical, security, cable TV, telephone service, data management, sales and marketing, and more. Cecil Milton has personally instituted and currently directs these initiatives with a hand-picked team of dedicated executives. This is entirely consistent with J. Milton & Associates central business philosophy of managing all of its activities in-house.

Mr. Milton has pioneered, developed and implemented the parent corporation's core accounting systems, its first employee benefits program, logistics, management negotiations, facilities management including vendor relations, contract management, and corporate expense policies. He also supervises training, educational, and strategic planning programs for his executive team. Additionally he is an equal member, with brothers Joseph and Frank Milton, of J. Milton & Associates three-member Executive Committee, which meets regularly to discuss, evaluate and implement company policy. Cecil Milton's expertise in the preparation, planning and management of company growth has a significant and equal impact on the parent company and United Property Management.

Besides extraordinary dedication to his pivotal role in the family firm, Cecil Milton is a committed advocate and participant in community service. His principal causes are with the Zoological Society of Miami, the Make-A-Wish Foundation, and the medical relief organization, The SS Hope.
