J. Milton & Associates has always prioritized being a good corporate citizen, and has frequently contributed to the quality of life in local communities. With much of the company's development activity currently focused on the City of Sunny Isles Beach, significant resources and energy have been applied to that city's civic projects-notably the exciting new Towne Center Commons and Sunny Isles Beach Park. This public amenity promises to be a recreational and cultural magnet for the entire region.

The Park's inspired design rises in levels to a promenade above the oceanfront. It culminates in the José Milton Skywalk, donated in the company founder's name, and provides Park visitors with barrier-free access to the beach. The Park provides welcome green space, a sidewalk cafe, a selection of retail outlets, outdoor evening cinema on the Great Lawn, and a public art exhibition area. A function/event space with a capacity of 2,000 people will be a hub of community activity. With the cooperation of the public and private sectors, this South Florida destination will be unmatched nationally in scope, beauty, and public benefit for years to come.

Quality of life is a central issue for consumers making a home-buying decision, and J. Milton & Associates understands the enduring value of creating lifestyle settings as well as buildings. When civic improvements are a key lifestyle component, entire communities benefit.

In the same spirit, quality of life drives our business model as we look to the future of our company, as well as that of South Florida as a whole. The newest energy, engineering and building technologies mandate the proactive deployment of green practices and materials, and we are committed to this approach in our plans for future development. There is simply no choice but to adopt environmentally friendly policies for land planning and use, and we stay abreast of evolving products and services as they become available. Much has changed in our industry since the company's founding-but not the dedication to the highest standards of materials, design and craftsmanship instituted by José Milton nearly half a century ago.
